Toy Poddle

Despite their small size, the Toy Poodle is one of the most popular breeds in dogdom. They have a curly, low-allergenic coat and are great athletes and companions for all seasons. Toy Poodles come in three sizes: Standards should be more than 15 inches tall at the shoulder; Miniatures are 15 inches or under; Toys stand no more than 10 inches. All three varieties have the same build and proportions. At dog shows, Toy Poodles usually appear in elaborate Continental clips. Most pet owners prefer simpler Sporting clips, in which their coats are shorn to follow the outline of the squarely built smooth muscle body. Remember any preconceived notions you may have about Toy Poodles: they’re eager athletic dogs who are wicked smart and versatile as well!
